Carl Lindberg

Youth Mentor

Carl Lindberg is a native Athenian who grew up playing in a tributary of the Middle Oconee and rambling the woods thereabouts. He has fond memories of picking wild strawberries and blueberries and checking out the bear poop his dad pointed out and the snakes his big brother was constantly catching at his Grandpa Carl’s farm nestled up to the mixed hardwood forests up in the foothills. Carl has Permaculture Design certificates from Central Rocky Mountain Permaculture Institute in Colorado [1995] and Earth Haven EcoVillage in North Carolina [2000] and has attended and worked on kitchen staff at Tom Brown Jr’s Tracker School for his Standard, Philosophy I, and Caretaker courses [2000-2002] as well as attended Jon Young’s Art of Mentoring immersion at Regenerative Design Institute in California [2008]. Lindberg is also an 20th Generation apprentice of Taijiquan under Master Chen Zhongua as well as being a student of Xingyiquan, Baguazhang, and Wisdom of the Body under Master Allen Pittman. Carl has been on staff with Wild Intelligence since their early years and after a brief hiatus is delighted to be back on staff.
